Optislip SR (formerly Crodamide) is a fast migrating refined steramide in powder form, suitable for use in polyolefins and rubber. Optislip SR (Powder) provides anti-blocking performance at low temperatures, as it migrates to the surface of the polymer to form a thin lubricating layer which reduces coefficient of friction between surfaces and prevents any unwanted adhesion. This is also useful for adhesive pellets such as Polyamide and EVA hotmelts, or adhesive film as the amide quickly migrates to the surface and forms a non-sticking "release" layer, effective at low temperatures.
